The 211 Helpline provides information and resources, or immediate emergency assistance to individuals in need. The 211 Helpline Specialists help callers find resources based on their needs and location. Individuals also have the option to use the GetHelpNY text line. This is a free and confidential resource available to help those in need. Individuals can text “GetHelpNY” to 898-21 to receive help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
