The Tioga County NMT Expansion: Removing Barriers to Recovery

The Problem
In Tioga County, the lack of transportation is the #2 barrier to health. For those in recovery from Opioid Use Disorder, no ride often means no treatment.

The Solution
Managed by CASA-Trinity, this pilot program provides free, non-medical rides for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). We bridge the gap between home and the services that make recovery possible.

Where We Go
Treatment: Doctor’s offices, counseling, and pharmacies.
Support: 12-step meetings and peer advocacy.
Stability: Grocery stores, food pantries, and court appointments.
Growth: Job interviews and education.

Why It Works
Proven: Over 6.000 rides already completed across the UNYICN network.
Reliable: Powered by Ride Health, featuring vetted drivers and specialized rural routing.
Targeted: Directly funded to abate the opioid crisis by keeping people connected to care.

Impact
